The Big Day Came and Went!

Phase 2 complete!

I had my surgery on December 20, I came home from the hospital on December 21. This is no longer a major surgery. To be honest, hospitals suck and I am glad to be home so quickly. I am not in very much pain, never was actually. I have to watch the way I move but otherwise I am doing very well!

This is funny, maybe all mental but I feel better. It is almost like they cut the cancer out of me and I don't have to work as hard to fight it inside so I feel better, not that I ever really felt bad but I guess in a way I did. This is hard to explain but it makes perfect sense to me.

Next stop the Radiation Super Highway!

Still fighting the good fight!

Stand Back and Watch Me Shine!

Thank you for saying hello! I'm glad you could see my dog. Yes, she's an innocent beaut ;-).

I'm sensing not only your relief but your surprise. The surgery was easy-peasy, yet how could it be so? It's in your tone here; the disbelief. And the relief (to be home). I love your spirit. Comes out in euphemisms and analogies aplenty.

Happy holidays and at home. No greater gift, I'm thinking.

Dear Meg

You set such a great example.
I think I might wilt facing such opposition - but not you!

My mum had her surgery over 30 years ago and has never looked back - completely recovered.
She has never considered herself "not whole" and has travelled the road into her age with such grace.
I wish the same upon you, Meg.

I see that you're famous... your photo has popped up on more than one blog that I have visited.
Not to mention a photo alongside our very own Pete Townshend!!

I am so very happy for you.

Love
Dale

Hi, me again!

A little birdie told me (actually Shouted at me) that it was your birthday yesterday...

Happy Birthday babes and lots of good luck, happiness, Whoppiness and laughs!

Was watching Kylie's Homecoming gig on TV the other day. She was amazing! People were screaming!
Thought of you instantly and how equally a courageous and *SHINY* fighter you are!!!!

Big hug and big love

Hello there...sending warm thoughts if it's chilly there and vice versa if it's the other way. Whatever you need in wishes...I think is everyone's command here.

I am curious about the dog's blogspot I must say. My own boxer, Bea Bea, will be thrilled (I'm thinking).

Here's to your continued shine and to dogs and kids.
