Over the Hump!
I had treatment #4 today, I am more then half way done!!! I don't know why the numbers are so important to me but they are. I see light at the end of the tunnel. Well at least for this phase of the treatment anyway! I still have 3 phases after this but let's not get ahead of ourselves!
Treatment today was good, I normally have treatment on Monday but for scheduling reasons on my part and the office part we changed it and it all worked out for the best!
I don't like rehashing the same old thing but it was the same old thing. Only one change, my blood pressure. My highest pressure today was 82/57 and my lowest was 77/50. They were just waiting for me to pass out I think, I felt completely normal, no dizziness, no nothing! The nurses were looking at me like I was crazy! I normally run low (around 90/60) but this was a new low even for me! Otherwise all is well, thank God!
Remember to...........
Stand back and watch me shine!

So happy you're over the hump
Meg,I'm not too sure Ned Beatty's character Bobby Trippe
wanted to see or hear a banjo
ever again!
Ok,some backwoods humor,come on
I'm a southern boy now!
This is fantastic news,keep on
keepin' strong!
If your blood pressure is normally
low and the nurse sends you home
then I'm not concerned as I initially was.
We're all going to be wearing
sunglasses when we see ya for
the Who shows!! :):)Keep on
shining girl!!
Excellent news! Always good to hear!
I normally run low as well, even when I'm stressed. I don't remember numbers ever though.
Can't wait for Tuesday!
Meg,
Getting over the half and feeling so well is a good sign. Keep on shining, my dear.

Hey Shiny, nice to hear from you!
I think numbers are important because they give you something to hang it all on - a tangible milestone, a measurable goal.
You sound positive and happy, and it's great to see the treatment is still going so well for you.
More than half-way is GREAT, especially as you know the second half of anything goes faster.
Love, M x
EEK!!! I'd be looking at you askance with a B/P like that too!!! Glad that it's almost over.
My B/P runs low too. I had a rather icky adventure last year when I had an upper GI and decided to throw in a screening lower GI at the same time, as colon CA runs in my family. After they did the upper, my B/P bottomed out, so they bought me out of my pleasant sleep and I was wide awake for the butt scope! Nasty stuff! The interesting thing was that I got to observe my inner plumbing on a TV screen. Now what if they had come upon a football sized tumor while I was watching? Or a gerbil skeleton? ("Wh-what's THAT?" Snidely: "We don't know, Ms. Zenor. Suppose you tell US.")
More than anyone wanted to know, I'm sure!!!
Keep shining! :-D
Downhill from here! Keep on shining! :)
Hi Meg, just dropping by to see how you are dong. I haven't got so much time to write my own blogs at the moment but am trying to keep in touch with everyone I care about out there. Reading your blog it seems you've mounted another hurdel. Well done and good for you...but your blood pressure!!!! OMG that is so low. Amazing you were still standing. Take good care of yourself dear, and hope the Who were all you hoped they would be xxx
